The Standards and Accreditation Committee is responsible for the establishment of standards and a programme of certification for the IT services industry in Jamaica.

The Communications Committee is the "Pipeline" between the JCS and its members and has among its activities the staging of the Annual JCS Conference, the Monthly Meetings and publication of the JCS Newsletter.

The Education Committee seeks to ensure that Jamaica has a well-trained cadre of IT professionals, that the use of computers is encouraged at all levels of Jamaica's education system, and that there is a general increase in the computer literacy of the population at large.

The Fund-Raising Committee is in charge of all activities which are geared towards providing financial support for the various programmes and projects of the JCS - these include events such as Oldies Night, the Annual Fun Day, and the staging of benefit performances.

The Membership Committee seeks to increase the membership base of the JCS and ensure that the objectives of the JCS, as they relate to development and support of membership, are efficiently and cost-effectively satisfied.
